60 gal tank with a canister pump and return on one side and a sump drain and return on the other.

There nonphotosynthetic.
they need really good flow.

My only flow is on the high side of the tank will that be ok with the lights?
By the way they are the cheap came with the tank at Petco type lights.

you can always upgrade lights later. But that coral is a tubastrea correct? A Sun coral?
If you put food near it the food should blow around quite a bit. Its a tricky coral. You'll want to feed it directly. You'll wast to get some more flow in the tank soon too

But my question is will it hurt him to put him higher in the tank (closer to those lights) or not? If not, I have some decent flow there.

i would put it in that cave on the right just get more flow going sun corals like some shade

So by feed it direct do you mean hit it with a blast of frozen from the turkey Baster or is there more? Sorry for the questions guys just new and want to get it right.

Not frozen...thaw and yes, feed gently with a baster. I feed my fat head dendro this way.
