Where to add pods.....

I am buying copepods from algae barn. Where to add them......if I add them in the DT, they'll get eaten right? I grow chaeto in this little mesh container thing (as pictured).

1. What does everyone think about adding them into there?

2. Also, will things like the protien skimmer kill them off?

3. Will they make it into the DT if I have a foam thing on my return pump intake?

Ime. Put them in the dt after lights out.

I'd put them in after lights out. I added a few snails and some empty shells from one tank to another. They must have transferred on them and now I have thousands of pods on my glass now without trying. They find a way to survive and multiply. The skimmer wont get too many of them. They run on surfaces more so than swim in the water.
