I've been looking for over a year for a reputable place that sells anthias. I've used liveaquaria for a few purchases and I can't order from them anymore. Half the fish they send either have parasites or are in really bad shape/dead when they arrive. I've ordered from them several times and every time I have this issue. I've switched over to bluezoo exclusively for several years and all my fish have arrived in amazing shape, never have parasites, and their customer service is incredible. Unfortunately, there inventory has been really sparse since covid hit and I suspect the same is true of many other companies.

Does anyone know where I can find a good selection of anthias that I can choose and order based on sex and is from a reputable dealer?

Cheers and thanks!

I’ve had good luck with reefbeauties.com, looks like they don’t have much for anthias currently, usually they have 5+ varieties. I got all 6 of my orange spotted filefish (requested specific sexes), dragonet, multibar angel, blue star leopard wrasse, and maybe a few others from them.

I was going to ask how is blue zoo aquatics but seems like you answered my question!

I use TSM aquatics exclusively for my fish stock. Great customer service and they do a very extensive quarantine of every fish. Right now they have both Bimaculatus and Purple Square anthias ready to ship with a group of Lyretail finishing QT around the end of the month.

TSM has several types in stock now. Great service, good communication, healthy quarantined fish.

I have purchased several lyretail and bimac from TSM. Beautiful specimens, healthy and good size. Would not hesitate recommending them 20210531_145118.jpg

Some of the Lyretails I got from TSM about 3 weeks ago. 2 have transitioned to male, so far no fighting between them.
