If you cant find it, heres a secret, macroalgae can take freshwater dips. I used to rinse my chaeto in tap water. It doesnt die. Plus lots of macroalgae float and get rained on.

That’s a great idea! I just worry about ICH encysted to a leaf or a piece of Cheato. Not to mention other fish parasites.
I have found that John at Reef Cleaners doesn’t house any fish in his systems! This is great news as that will eliminate nearly all fish parasites from being in the water or on the Macro’s. He doesn’t sell any Acropora, so that eliminates any AEFW’s.

I’ve been ordering from this guy since 2014 and I’ve never had ICH come into my system from his snails or inverts.
