Where to buy gender specific fish?

Looking to get a Male valentini puffer fish… how would I go about doing that?

Either ask a lfs to try and get one or visit some stores and look for one.

Your best bet will probably be asking your LFS to order two in and going in to sex them yourself or asking if they can. It’s very hard to order in specifically male and female in things like puffers and tangs unless the LFS wholesaler is labelling them (and labelling properly).

I’m trying to obtain a Male Valentini Puffer (males have blue coloration from their head to their tail) I will see if my lfs can order one. Thanks!

Dr. reef has them in stock rn so I would check with them first
