Looking to do an upgrade already! Loving the hobby and want something more complete wondering if you guys could tell me good websites to buy from and decent prices I'm looking for a 40-50 gallon cube with stand an overflow built in and hopefully a sump as well or refugium is prefer the fuge but will figure it out. I have seen a couple online around but the sites seem iffy and of course found the perfect setup on eBay for 799 here's a link
New SC Aquariums 50 Gallon Starfire Glass Tank 24x24x20" 10mm Saltwater Ready | eBay
Is this any good? It's starfire glass and includes a stand with a sump. Please let me know!

I have a friend that purchased one of those tanks. It ships pretty nice, and they're customer service is good. His sump had a crack and they refunded him some of his money. Also the stand had to be assembled. I pretty sure you can find a build tread.

Well that's good to hear I don't mind assembling a stand just want something complete the wife wants it to be "pretty" which I agree a clean looking tank is way better! So may be a good option! Thanks for your response!

No problem. I think he did upgrade the skimmer and return pump though.

Yea I already have a skimmer in my nano it's a tunze 9002 if I remember right their rated for 70 gallons at a max or something so I could run 2 skimmers ;) and the return pump yea eventually I could see that, how does it sound is it loud when it's overflowing down into the sump?

Not to sure yet on the noise yet. He only leak tested it. He's still trying to decide on skimmer. He's had it about 2-3 months now.

Wow yours looks huge, I thought about them as well! I picked out a 45 cube with starfire and overflow and a stand for 1068 or something like that!

I just got a brand new SCA 120g eurobrace starfire, love it.
It's a nice build, and they are relocating and giving discounts, or at least they are for local pickup in rancho cucamunga, which is about an hour and a half from me, but well worth the drive.
They are nice tanks, you won't regret it.
They have nice sumps and has skimmers too, though I have not heard much on the skimmers, seemed decent.
The only thing I'm not sure of is the stand, I think they are MDF, I'm a carpenter, so of course I do my own cabinets anyway, but you may want to take that in consideration.
For tank alone you absolutely can't go wrong, I could never have found a better deal, got a new for the price of used.

Sca huh? Well I will have to check out their site. Can't quite do that big but am hopeful! 50 gallon cube is about as big as I can get although the attached link the sump seems VERY small due to stand size

So what would be wrong with using MDF? Is it less stable?
