After being out of the hobby for about 4 years I came back last year, found lots of things changed, I need a good place to order wrasses online and for that matter clownfish as well. My local stores are not lookong good on selection or health.

Oops, I guess I have never changed my location on here. I am now in texas, dallas area. Mainly looking for fairy wrasse

Ok, for me I been having good luck so far with live aquaria. A few months ago I order a Grey Head and Vrolik's Wrasse they been doing great!!!

I'm watching divers den, just have not found anything there so far, I'll shoot pia an email with a question. Reefwise I just wont deal with, personal thing

I'm looking for some interesting ones but I agree the pickens have been slim lately. Can't find a Lineatus anywhere and no one seems to have many flasher wrasses ( really want a red tail flasher)

Same here, there used to be all types of flashers and fairys available but nothing I can dig up at this time. I would even settle for a chaoti or similar but nothing.

There's a young C. Johnsoni sitting on DD now.

Check out Dallas North Aquarium up north in Carrollton, my go to LFS. Certainly the best selection of fish in the area in my opinion. Last time i was there they had a handful of uncommon wrasse. I picked up a Temminckii fairy wrasse, saw an Naoko and multiple other fairies but no flashers. You also might check out Aquarium Boutique on the edge of Garland over by White Rock Lake. Yuki the owner is great for knowledge on fish. Not the biggest selection but can order for you.

I just visited dallas north and sad to say all the stock looked pale, sickly. I have bought fish from them before but right now I wouldn't. I'm checking out some options...

yeah i haven't been in there in several weeks. I would guess this time of year they are getting in multiple more shipments than normal which could be part of the problem due to little to no proper acclimation. I've seen some decent looking fish at Exotic Aquatics but the owner ticked me off when i was first looking for a place to buy my new set up a few years back. Salesman told me one price which included a free stand. Owner contacted me the next day to say i couldn't receive the sale price on the used tank and the free stand. I hadn't taken possession of any of the products at that point so i canceled the order and they won't see any $ from me in the future for anything. good luck on your hunt. if you find any other solid LFS's in the area let me know.

Got my exquisite fairy from diver's den and my lunate fairy from NY aquatics. Heard great things about Pacific island aquatics too

@NYAquatic and petslutions are my two favorites (petsolutions has more leopard wrasse options)
