I am getting ready to buy fish for my tank but wondering the best place to get fish.

Fish store? Lots of those in Florida, I assume.

Popular online places are live aquaria, saltwater fish, vivid aquariums, etc.

I live in west palm beach.

I am looking for some hardy fish like clowns or chromis to start with. My wife likes the flame angels but I didn’t want to just start with that.

If you’re looking at a small number of reasonably inexpensive, hardy fish that aren’t ultra rare, I’d probably say you’re better off trying to find a good local fish store if possible first. If not, check some of the sponsors and sites above.
