Where to do in a AIO?

Currently have a bit of trouble finding a good place for the dosing tubes. Right now I’m using this. I’m dosing directly into the tank but for some reason the alk is hitting the glass and creating this weird hard texture.

can I dose directly into the middle chamber where the return is? Or is there any better areas?

High flow area is best...so yes, return pump chamber. Or direct in tank, but move to where powerhead or return nozzle is.

Currently problem is that the surface area of my tank is very turbulent so water sometimes gets into the tube>.<
