Where to find big sumps

Which companies make big sumps in the 60x24 range and where can you buy them?

I know “Tsunami” makes big ones

Personally I built mine out of acrylic because I couldn’t justify the expense .

MRC are amazing if you aren’t familiar with them. Super high quality, well thought out design. Royal Exclusive also makes monster sumps.
I’d imagine trigger systems could make you a really nice one as well.

Cheap option would be Rubbermaid troughs.

Could buy a fish tank and turn it into sump. They come in lotsa dif sizes. Wait for petco to do their dollar a gallon sale

Rubbermaid stock tanks DIY is also a good choice if you have acrylic skills. Other than that you probably are looking at something custom. Can always call Jeff @ Lifereef - he is always more than happy to talk and then build.

No doubt, but I love that picture. I bought a 44" from him that was of stock design, but he changed the color for me, so it was "custom." He does good work, but so do many of the others listed above. Just depends on what you want.

I bet - it does look nice. Also not knocking it. One always has to look at the labor cost among other things. Heck, there is also the factor of buying something without really having an idea of what you really need only later finding out you are buying a second sump after figuring that out

I sang it that same way when reading the title!

Crystal or Geo is where Id start. Not sure theres much off the shelf in these sizes. Perhaps MRC if you you’re shooting for the stars.

+1 for Elite Aquatic. I’m in the process of getting them to build one for me. They have a 60x24x16 which starts around $800. Tyler’s been really helpful and his sumps are awesome!
