Like the title says in a year or so once a clear some of my smaller tanks out i would like to get a shallow ,frag tank, where can you get one of these made at? or buy 1?

Thanks

not sure on your side of the world lol..... try avast or blue glow they both do acrylic or even marc might.... i know he dont normally do displays but he prolly could do a little frag tank..;)

I would but i want to make sure NO leaks..bad times with leaking tanks......old 90 gal went from leak to bottoming out in 20minutes...

For this tank im talking maybe a foot tall, preferably less and then just have the tank 2 ft by 2ft or something..a shallow square

Ill send you a message if i decide to bui;d one, ijust dont know if i can trust myself enough to build 1,lol

Jumping the gun a little with a year to go lol, a guy on eBay makes tanks dirt cheap I got a 38-18-18 for 285 shipped with all the baffles and stuff too. Great quality and everything would highly like to deal with again.

^ The guy on eBay makes great stuff, his company is called Advanced Acrylics. Miracles is IMO the best for glass.

Whatever you do, stay away from Glass Cages. They make very poor quality tanks and the customer service is horrible. JMO!

Not sure if you're married to the acrylic idea but Glass Cages has some pretty good deals on smaller tanks. I got mine from them (40" x 30" x 9") for $200. That's with Starphire on 3 sides. Just another idea. I would not recommend Glass Cages for larger tanks but they do a good job on smaller ones.

you could build one that size easily.... check my threads i have million of pics on doing acrylic and building tanks... i just built one that size in my diy prop thread lol....

i might try to build one..it would be a fun thing to do..just need to read up 1st.....im not doing it anytime soon but should i go acrylic or glass?

Trust me and yourself, You can make a great tank dirt cheap. I built my 60x30x18 Starfire + beveled glass for $700 in supplies! I love my tank. I wouldn't even blink at a small tank, I've been contemplating building an ELOS Mini style tank and I am pretty sure I can get it done under $200 starfire + beveled. If your looking for a 24x24x12 float 3/8th could be done arond $80 bucks...

Yea i just simply dont have the skills to do it,so like i said above ill need to read up some, then build....

But this wont be any time soon but maybe some time during the year

Can't argue with the service not being the best, but as far as quality goes I know several people that have bought tanks from them with out and
issue and they looked fine to me. But don't try and order anything special becasue they won't even talk to you about it.

And to be completley honest with you if you stick with glass its really not that hard to build one. Acrylic is harder but its also dooable.
