I was going to order from @AlgaeBarn, but they seem to be out of chaeto for two weeks. I just put together my algae reactor and need a bit to seed it.

I have been in the hobby long enough to know that chaeto can come with all sorts of bad stuff. From aiptasia to GHA and more.

I want to start off with clean chaeto. No pods needed.

I saw Sustainable Aquatics was talking about DT's Chaeto, which seems good, but can't find a place to purchase it.

Anywhere else?

I just got an order of macros for a display refugium from gulf coast ecosystems. Everything looks good no diseased pieces and no pests that I could see. Website is live-plants.com. They are out of a lot of stock right now I'm told from the hurricane a few weeks ago. Hopefully they'll have more soon, as I want some different kinds for my algae tank.

Are you trying to grow different types of Macro Algae? Be careful, some become nuisances themselves and are impossible to keep down in the display. Chaeto is one of the easier ones, as it doesn't latch on and grow into rock etc.

There's no coral in there. Yes, I'm actually trying to grow macro algae in there.

Just bought some from LiveAquaria.com. You have to go to their live foods section for some reason to find it. 1/4 Lb is around 12 dollars. Shipped clean and was nice a healthy looking.

aquariumdepot.com, they sell a wide variety of algae and inverts.
I've been pleased with all my purchases.
