Whats the best website to order my first corals from?. And whats your experience with them

Local reefers are better than any website. Beyond that I'd check the aquasd auction on ebay.

There are a few. Pls this is by no means an in order list but all have great quality and customer service. @Living Reef Orlando Ann amazing. @TCK Corals Dan excellent. @RiptideAquaculture Mason and Mitch @Acro76 Cherry Corals @SBB Corals Shane in the coral lab and Jason Fox OG. Can’t go wrong with any. Healthy quality stock that they back 100% thru my experiences. Good luck. Happy Reefing

I have to recommend the advertising supporters of this site. They are all human so results are hit and miss, ime. That said, try to find out where/ who has the nearest shipping address to minimize the route that the coral has to bounce around in on way to your place.
Also check the fire sale adds on the site from other hobbiest.
I have to say that supporting any local fish store/small business is a good idea for the hobby. Pay extra to keep the options available, if possible.
What are you looking for? Put that in this thread and ask folk to work out a deal!

Im looking as a first coral for a zoa. Any kind would do. And a candy cane, and a mushroom any kind tbh.

Find local guys either using this site or local Facebook groups. No shipping, cheaper and healthier coral.

Hello there! We have a ton of super nice zoas (we have over 200 different strains growing in our aquaculture facility) we also have a couple of different colored candy canes and we have mushrooms galore from discosoma, rhodactis, ricordea and even bounces. Please feel free to send us a message and we can build you a nice little custom pack! Thank you for the love @HudsonReefer2.0 I appreciate you more than you know!

For soft corals and LPS, you will be lucky if you can find a local frag swap and have a chance to talk to the folks that have grown them. Best of luck

Personally I have gone to fellow reefers here in the classified for all of my sps frags. If you buy online the only advise I can give is look at the photos. Most of the images I see advertising corals have manipulated the colors. If it looks to good to be true color it probably isn't and should be avoided, unless disappointment is your thing. Feel free to ask questions about the images and lighting used and maybe ask for pics under white lights. The first thing I look at is the background. If background colors are off I know the color is not accurate. For instance if white eggcrate is blue, or pink, etc I know the colors are not an accurate representation as white eggcrate is well, white unless it is covered in coralline. It no biggie to show of your tank that way but I think it is deceitful to manipulate the color of a coral for sale. Usually just over saturation is enough to make the coral "pop". Sorry for the rant but this is a pet peeve of mine

+2 to starting in the marketplace forums. The pricing, frag size, and overall quality is sometimes a bit better. Online I like, Cultivated Reef(USA), Tidal Gardens (USA), and Fragbox Corals (if in Canada).
