Where to place dosing hoses

Currently, I have all three of my dosing hoses going into my return pump chamber. In this chamber is obviously my pump but also my ATO optical sensor. Will I run into any issues dosing in this chamber? Or as long as I clean the sensor regularly, I should be alright?

I could also place my hose holder in the bubble trap chamber right before the return pump section?

I keep mine right in the return pump area, you should clean the sensor once a month for the ato

I also dose into the return chamber and have optical sensors there. Just make sure that the dosing fluid doesn’t drip directly onto the sensors, clean them every now and then and you should be fine. The only thing I dose elsewhere is NoPoX (when I use it, only intermittent) - I dose that in the first inlet section to allow the skimmer first bite at any blooms.

Return pump area best. Are you able to move opticals to a different chamber so you don’t get calcium and alk all over the sensors giving you a false reading ?

You can have them anywhere as long as you have good water movement. I have mine dosing into my skimmer section.

I dose in the return chamber as well. I also put a small power head in the return area to keep good circulation and mix the chemicals.

Good advice, this works great when dosing ALK.
