I bought a piece of montipora recently I’m not sure where to situate it? And just to confirm am I ok to use normal superglue or do I have to get a special type if I want to stick it to a live rock

Superglue is fine on the underside. It will eventually encrust over the rock and hold itself on. Depending on your light low to mid with moderate to high flow.

Most people curse montipora because once it gets big it overshadows or over grows other corals so keep that in mind when placing.

When I glue it would I have to take the live rock out of water? Cos last time I took live rock out I got a serious hair algae problem

At the moment I’m scared to place anything on the left side of my tank because my nem always wondering around there

Nope I just use gel super glue. It makes a film on the top when it goes into the water so when you place it gently push and twist so the rock pops the glue bubble and then hold it there for a second.

If you got a plating type of Monti ,, you didn't say ,, I am guessing this is what you got though ,, MrWheelock is right ,, keep it to the outside of your scape as much as you can ,, guide its growth towards the outside of your scape ,, if you let it grow over your scape ,, for the most part you won't be able to grow anything under it ,, when you mount it to a piece of rock ,, mount it to a smaller piece of rock ,, say baseball sized piece of rock ,, this will make it easier to move around if you need to ,,

This type of coral is a major commitment in your tank ,, kinda like having that nem you have in your tank ,, having a Nem and a plating Monti in your tank ,, those two corals will own 2/3 of your tank ,, make sure they are nice ones ,, watch some You Tube videos on this coral ,, make sure its something you want in your tank ,, these videos will also show you ways to grow it for a nice scaped look in your tank ,,

Personally I wouldn't put one in my tank ,, I like having a lot of corals in my tank ,, plating Montis take up a lot of space

If you got a encrusting Monti ,, now these I do have in my tank, not really nice ones though lol the really nice ones cost $$$ ,, there are some really nice ones out there ,, I have two ,, both on their own rock and placed on my sand bed ,, I don't want them spreading onto my rock scape ,, why I keep them on their own rock ,,

At the end of the day ,, its never to late to not put something into your tank :)

Placement will depend on the genus of your montipora, some like high light as other like medium to low. If in doubt I always start low and slowly bring it up, once I know the coral is in the right place I den fix it in that location, super glue or epoxy are both good for the job
