Where to place Rainbow Phoenix Monti

I just got a rainbow phoenix monti frag and I tried placing it closer to the top similar to where it was in a tank I purchased it from but it immediately started to bleach from the ends. Color is still good but I moved it down to my sand bed where the light isn't as bright. Just wondering where those that have it have placed the coral in their tank.

My tank parameters:

135 Planet Aquarium Tank
I'm running Rapid LED Corona and Onyx lights
Alk: 8.3 dkh
Ca: 450
Mg: 1440
I haven't tested NO3 and PO4 in awhile but my guess is:
PO4: less than .1
NO4: 20ppm

I run Onyx fixtures @ 100% in my 90. My plating Monti's seem to like the lower third of the tank. I always start corals at the bottom and go up slowly. Starting any coral high up and directly under the lights may cause them to bleach.
