Ive had a 55 gal reef tank for almost 1 year now and I have been purchasing all my coral and rock and fish from one EXPENSIVE lfs and I am currently trying to find other stores to purchase from..either online or locally. I live in South Jersey. does anyone know of any good online retailers that offer great products but dont cost an arm and a leg? as well as any in stores in NJ or philly?

Reef Pets. I have great auctions that end every Thuraday that certainly won't break the bank!

Reef2Reef has many options to purchase corals! Just swing by the vendor section and choose your selection. :)

In NJ, there are two good fish stores I use, however I am in the north. Absolutely Fish in CLifton is good, as well as sea level aquarium in Pine Brook. Might be a bit of a drive, but they are worth it

I've found that checking with local reefers is one other good source. I just gave away several LARGE frags of SPS after fragging colonies that had gotten too large.

I'm also in South Jersey like you. I would check out some of the site sponsors on here. Also, check out local reef clubs. I'm a member of NJ Reefers. There is a meeting coming in two weeks in Mt. Laurel.

There are some great sponsers on this forum for online orders. And local reefers always will hook you up=)

thanks for the responses! but do any of you have any experience with buying frags from online retailers? im looking into purchasing some online but there are soooooo many dealers. any insight on who to buy from?
