I'm not sure if this is the proper section to post this but considering this is an aesthetic question this seemed like the best place to ask.

My tank has been set up for over 8 months now and everything has been great. My next step is to start adding some lps corals to my current scape. My biggest concern is that it is aesthetically pleasing. I have no idea what corals would look good where and really could use some help. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Max

Ps this is a picture of the tank when first set up. It has matured greatly since this pic

Well, it all depends on what types of corals do you plan on getting. If you want recommendations for that, here are some corals that I love. I'l do a quick mock-up of what I'm telling you afterwards.
-On the sand near the arch, I would love to see a Cynarina or Acanthophyllia, two VERY underrated corals that deserve to be in every mixed reef.
-round the base of the rocks, it could look cool to do a garden of Euphyillias, such as hammers or frogspawn. I would do that on the left face and top of the structure.
-On the slope to the right, some Caulastrea could look amazing. You choose the color, of course.
-Movement is a major thing, especially with an LPS dominant tank. One of my favorite movement-makers is the elegance coral, that would look sweet in the sand to the right of the structure.

I'll post a picture of what I'm thinking in the next few minutes.

Thank you soo much that would be awesome of you. I will look into what you suggested. I am a definite newbie when it comes to keeping corals so this helps a lot. There are just so many kinds!

You are very welcome, I try to be as much of a help to new hobbyists as I can be!
This is kind of what I'm thinking for you're scape, of course I expect you'll want to add SPS as the system matures? I accounted for that by leaving the top part of the scape empty, just in case. All of these corals are relatively easy to care for, and I definitely think you're system is mature enough even for basic SPS like Seriatapora.
Good day and God bless!

This is amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to put that together. My only question is the on the left side of the rocks is very steep. Will these corals be about sit on this steep part of the rocks?

Once again thank you for the suggestions and the picture

If you think it's too steep there then by all means move them, this was only made as a reference photo. You are very welcome, it's things like this that help keep me going in the hobby!
