Well I apologize if it seemed that way.. We always show people and say look where we get our corals from... This thread is just to show where we get our frags and how are frags from the big colonies are doing...

I didn't say I couldn't tell you where or who... I just would rather not post his name everywhere without asking him ... if I receive a pm I may let them know who or ask our guy if he wants to sell more of his frags to someone... I don't think he ships coral out but idk

I agree that its odd. Also, Diamondreef, nothing needs a point, I just needed clarification. I was expecting opening to a vendor and got excited, because its always great when people share feedback. But its not, so the title misled me to open the thread.

Well I am sorry for that... I guess I should have thought more about the title... and added that the purpose was to share photos of a successful tank...
I thought that was the forums main purpose but idk... This is the only forum I'm really on... I would have posted it in a vendor feedback thread if it was for sale or if he sold frags...

Again I truly am sorry for misleading you... I had no intention of doing so.. just wanted to post it since I figured out how to upload a video finally lol. I'll think about the wording more carefully next time I make a thread I guess...

Well that part was a given.. but thank you for taking the time to go copy that... why are you trying so hard to give me a hard time about this thread? Honestly.... I don't understand... This has nothing to do with any other thread if that's why you're doing this...
 
i dont understand how I am giving you a hard time. where is the issue now? I have already stated that I stand corrected on the other issue, and have moved on. you said you didnt know the main purpose of the forum, so I thought I would point it out, in a friendly community kinda way.

I dont get whats going on with reef2reef it sames like everyones has attitude and moderator ( whatever you call them) arnt doing anything about it. Nothing against moderators, just think people need to be suspended. Because on the forum homepage it says Our goal is to provide a friendly place to discuss and ask questions pertaining to the marine and reef aquarium hobby. All flow and diamond did was post pictures of there friends tank they get there corals from. Jlobes and jings_xoxo gotta relax, getting your self's alll worked up over someone posting a picture of a reef tank. Ok im done now lol

Hmm...not the way most of us see it...

I should also say that I'm not sure where your post is coming from since it looks like the slight confusion that was had in this thread was worked out amicably. Do you really think someone should be suspended because they asked her why she was posting this??

I think the mods should wait to see if confusions or disagreements among members can be resolved between the members before getting involved. If threads need to be cleaned up, then that should probably be done, and suspension should be the last resort and used for when individuals show blatant disrespect for the R2R policies and rules. Things like leaving bogus feedback, openly bashing sellers in someone else's feedback thread, bashing sellers in their own for sale threads...things that are blatantly against the rules...those should be suspendable offenses. I don't think having a disagreement that is kept at a respectful level should be a reason for getting suspended or banned...we're adults (at least most of us), and I think adults can usually disagree and keep it civil. I have only known of a few people who have been banned from R2R, and they were for racist comments, defying the policies of R2R (and even then a mod tried to correct the situation before banning happened). I know of two instances of the last example, and in both cases the individuals who got banned were blatantly disregarding the rules of R2R and thumbed their noses at the mods who called their attention for it.

So in a short answer, I guess I would say that I disagree with your rationale for being banned... I prefer the way R2R mods do their job...I know of other forums which are much more heavily moderated...those places might be more like what you're suggesting. Personally, I prefer the R2R way.

i dont know what youre talking about!? im not worked up, and any problem you may perceive is in your own mind. If there is any confusion to that, scroll down to post #30. Not sure, where you get off, suggesting that i "be suspended". you should probably mind your own business, instead of stirring a pot, in which you have no soup!! im glad you're done now. :)

BTW, i (like many) thought this was going to be a thread, telling us where diamond "get our corals from", not a show off thread. therein lies the confusion.

+1 speaking of unnecessary arguments...by his own logic, bradsreeftank should be suspended.
