Wheres my wrasse?

Hi,
I purchased a melanurus this last Tuesday and I haven't seen it yet. No feedings etc. No body to be found anywhere and no predators in tank.
The water hasn't fouled either.
Thougjts?

Acclimating by hiding. If you have plenty of copepods...I wouldnt even get concerned until the 3rd week of not seeing him

probably buried in the sand unless you don't have a top then..

they can stay buried for a long time, like a couple of weeks. But it'll come out before then. Just in case, check your filter socks. Ashamed to admit that I've lost a couple of fish that way. The same pseudochromis 3 times...not the brightest fish on the reef.
