Which anthias can I add?

I have an 80G tank with a couple of clowns, a small pair of longnose hawkfish, yellow tail damsel, pajama cardinal, a small carpenter wrasse and a linespot wrasse.
I have a small pink margin wrasse and dispar in QT that I’ll add to DT next week.
Which anthias can I add that will be good tank mates?

Yes I know a dispar is an anthias. Want to know which other anthias I could add.

Other dispar. Unlike some extra chippy ones like bartlett, multiple should be fine.

I believe ignitus can be mixed in.

I would stay away from big or aggressive ones like lyretail, Bartlett, square back.

Anyone else?

I agree with this. Can also try a fathead anthias. Most dont fare well due to the care they require so please be up to the task before trying them. They need many feedings each day and docile tank mates

Additional dispar or ignitus (essentially the same species), Randalls/resplendent, carberyii would all work.

^^ Yep, which all usually do better in groups, so I'd personally add a couple more dispars at least or more depending on what bioload you can handle

Carberryi are awesome anthias. Mine ate right away, dont bother any other tank mates and are very active fish. They got my clown to swim around the whole tank. I did one male and 2 female but wouldnt hesitate to just do a male and female pair because of how peaceful they are. The colors arent as vibrant as some of the other anthias but still a very pretty fish

Typically you only want a single male with several females. Usually the dominant female will transition to male if there isn't one. At least that's what lyretails do. So, I'd probably add females unless you know your current one is definitely female.

I used to get all females and let them work it out, but for a while now I've had better luck of not having submales, or full blown transition by getting a large established male, and good bit smaller females.
I guess size and age of yours now would be the question and sizes available of new anthia on deciding what I'd do, but many do just buy all females and be fine, I just have my preference.
