Hello everyone, my rocks finally arrived and I was so excited I moved everything off my counter tops and starting building. The tank is an Evo 13.5. I have the sicce1.0 return pump, a korrila KPS power head and will be buying either an AI prime 16hd or 32. As for livestock I'm thinking a goby/pistol combo, royal Gramma, and either a pair of clowns or possibly a recommendation someone else would have. Corals will be a mixed reef, some zoas, euphyliia, mushrooms, acans/blasto, and a few "beginner SPS pieces". I have some teal birdnsnest in my other tank and will be trying out some other frags once my perimeters stabilize.

ANYWAYS, I'd like some help at which aquascape would be the best for flow, spacing and all around wow factor. Our current biocube is pretty meh and I know after my girlfriend sees some of these she will want to redo hers. Here they are.

Tank 1 is the first, a ledge with a few small islands and small arch.

Tank B is more of a semi circle with a "lagoon" in the center.

Lastly Tank C. It has a lot of hiding spots, lots of flat spots for easy glueing, gives me some height for pieces I want to give more or less light too and I feel is my favorite.

What corals are you thinking about adding? Have you planned your aquascape around future grow-out?
Just from the rock images, I think I like A the best and it should have grow-out room.

...BTW, I think all 3 look like nice aquascapes with individual points of merit.

I think all three are nice. I like the flat plates of C for attaching your frags to, but before you get set to make it final and fill er up see how your hands feel inside of you have to work around things like say perhaps you want to blast some aptasia are you going to be able to work in there. I made that mistake with my nano tank and it makes it tough to work in.

They're all great! I think @Soren nailed the crux. Choose one that meets your future needs. Filled with mature colonies, none will look much like what you start with. But, if I were forced to choose... A is the chicken dinner I'd go with...

This is why i love Reef2reef, you guys have brought up things i wasnt really thinking about. I think i liked C the most because its visually appealing to me the most. It looks like something id love to swim in lol lots of knooks and arches to swim threw. I do see the issue with cleaning, i just put my mits in there and trying to stick a suction vacuum in there would be a pain in the butt. Regaurding the topic of flow i did some quick calculations and came out with a turnover rate of anywhere from 46 to 96 times. My power head can be set from 370 to 1050gph so that is why the number has such a margin. As for growth my bank account is on hold for corals for the time being. Im looking to spend a bit of money on my motorcycle this month and that will take president as i already have some livestock i can bring in from my other tank. I am starting to worry about placement and growth in the tank C. This was what i was sort of thinking for coral. i removed the rock outfront marked with an "X". Red will be room for acans/blastos,candy canes, blue will be euphylla, orange or purple will be a rainbow bubble tip and or some easy sps corals. Its either or because we all know the BTA will go wherever it wants.

I have plans to break down this scape and keep building. The creative juices and the cold ones are flowing so ill be posting some more to choose from.

You are good on calculations but the rock work in B and C will impede it. You will have to have multiple power heads. I like A for flow, lighting for coral, it looks nice

Just based on the scape I like C the most. But for your planned livestock I think A is maybe more suitable. More room for the fishes and coral to grow, and trust me you’ll run out of room fast!

Also, the ones that like B and C I am guessing you come from fresh water? I agree they are the coolest, I see them as freshwater tho

This is a mix of a and c. I think I really enjoy the height and that's what I'm trying to get out of this tank. No past experience in freshwater bug that is how I got into the hobby. After work I'd unwind watching freshwater aquascaping videos. I had just planned to build a large Betta tank with shrimp, tettras and live plants. Then I looked into saltwater and figured i would just jump in and try it. Now I've got three tanks and can't wait to have the space for a larger (90+gallons) tank.
