I like the auto aqua smart. even over the big tunze. the only problem is if you add it to the DT it bright blue like a moon light.
but in the sump not an issue.
I had the tunze switch over to the smart I had for a nano and even got the new apex ATK the smart micro is still on the DT and the apwx is still in the box :/

that will change tho once I move the tank...but all in all I really like the auto aqua smart for size, function and been working great for me about a year or so now..

I've been using the Neptune ATK in my nano (stand alone). I had to remove the float valve though to make it fit. If I did it again I'd stick with a Tunze.

Yeah, that was the one thing that swayed my decision. The float is too big unless you have a large system.

I'm a big fan of the Tunze system. The only one I'd say was as good, or better, would be Neptune's ATO kit, but for that, you've got to have an Apex, as well... pricey option.

For a small system, the Tunze Nano is probably sufficient, though the full Osmolator is a bit more feature rich. Ever planning to upgrade? I'd go with the regular osmolator.

It is my understanding the Neptune system doesn’t require their full controller, the ato can run independently.

Smart Micro ATO
