So I have narrowed my choice of a blenny down to a Starry Blenny (S. ramosus) and a Bicolor Blenny (E. bicolor) with the Starry Blenny being my first preference by far.

However, I would appreciate it if I could know which one out of the two species is more likely to be aggressive towards other bottom dwellers, specifically shrimp gobies and their Pistol Shrimp, as well as timid swimmers such as Dartfish.

As for algae eating services I’m sure the Starry does a better job than the Bicolor, and that both blennies are easy to keep and feed (the reason why I’ve dismissed the Lawnmower apart from its drab looks is its finicky nature), so it’s the potential for aggression I’m mainly concerned about.

Really love the Starry Blenny and it’s my first choice for a blenny by far but also don’t want to risk my other fish so more opinions are appreciated!
