Which Clarisea?

Im debating on purchasing the clarisea sk5000 as it’s only a few dollars more and may want to upgrade tanks in the future. But then I read the flow recommendations and I can’t ever imagine putting over 1000 gph through any sump. To those with the larger model, is your sump a raging torrent or is there another reason for buying the sk5000?

One reason is that the filter roll will last much longer with less flow, so will need changing less.

It would also depend on what you can fit in the sump area as many are fairly small.
