Which controller should I run?

Hi, I'm at a crossroads with which controller to buy. Being the Apex or the GHL?

I'm torn because of the trident for the apex coming and ghl with their superb doser and kh director already out...

What should I do?

Apex. Much wider range of equipment. Plus they have a better UI and cloud interface.

I hated my Apex at first because it required daily reboots as it would drop offline. But then all of a sudden it was super stable. I would have to say Apex has been pretty good for me. I read a lot about stability issues and ran into them a bit. However I think they pushed out a firmware update that helped those issues.

I dont think you can go wrong either way you go. Do some research and see if one has something that applies to your needs more than the other or has something u like better for whatever reason.

It depends on what your plans are for your tank and what your going to control and monitor.

Then start looking at stability, reliability, and features and choose.

There is a stand-alone version of the GHL doser. I run that and the apex. The whole ‘don’t put all your eggs in one basket’ thing. I went apex mostly because it’s a US based company (and I live in the US). If I lived in Europe (and understood German thinking LOL) I’d probably have gone with GHL.
