I will let you know which ones were easy for me when I first started. (IN PURPLE)
I have not kept all of these so others will have to let you know what worked for them.
Remember you have a new tank and may not have enough food for any filter feeders.
Not beginner corals or corals you need to feed in RED

I haven’t set up the tank yet. I’m just planning ahead. Can’t I just feed the corals that need to be fed with frozen food and a syringe?

Yes you can feed them. For a lot of people it becomes a task that they end up not liking. Waiting at lights out for a sun coral to open, then feeding it only to have your wrasse come eat all the food. Feeding filter feeders phytoplankton and having algae outbreaks because of it. It can be bother some along with all the other duties you need to get used to doing on a regular basis. Some coral like nutrient rich water and some dont. If you are willing to do a lot of online research and keep your tank in a stable condition that meets the needs of all your corals you can keep almost any coral for sale.
