I'm looking into getting a doser for the first time and I need input and suggestions. Please comment below on what kind you guys use or prefer and why.

Atm im using the jebao dp4 works fine. Ill be looking in to getting either the Neptune systems doser or the c
Kore 5th doser from pacific sun in the future.

I have two Jebao DP4's. they work and they are price right. Do they hook up to a Neptune system no. The Jebao DP4 has a slave pump, the reason I did not get the slave was that it was less to buy the master.

BRS, been using them over three years. At the time the price point was much lower than other dosing pump options. They arn't fancy but work well!

I use the jebao/jecod DP-4

My LFS recommended them, they said they used to use more expensive units in their service accounts, but found that they failed just as often as the jebao at 3x the price.

I am using the Neptune Dos with the Apex and absolutely love it. Makes dosing incredibly easy to set up and monitor.

I use a GHL has a super fine dosing control and can be programed with a smartphone. GHL is the grand daddy of dosing systems and they make their units in house. I like fine control of dosing as I want to have most of my dosing done by the doser. You can have 16 pumps on the master unit. Can also be used for auto top off and it has magnetic stirrers that can installed below your dosing containers.

I do use digital timers for the BRS. Not as slick and cool as apex and high end pumps but gets the job done well!

BRS Drew's doser. It has 4 rollers and is around 1.5ml/min.
Around 100 bones a piece, but beats the heck out of all the others.
The new dosers have crappy heads and more are 3 rollers or less.
These last quite a long time in comparison.

Only downside is you have to do the math yourself and figure out how to time them, and TRIAC outlets don't work with them so you need mechanical relays. (reef angel or w/e controller; Apex works but their main outlet is triac)

I've used BRS dosers controlled via RKE on my current setup for the last 3.5 years with no issues. However I went with the GHL doser 2 for the new setup. I have no experience running it yet but it sure looks and feels nice!

AquaMedic. Set it and it stays rock solid. Only thing I hate is it doesn't reset itself after a power outage. Older model:(

Eshopps dosing pump because it's blue and digital. Lol Haven't had a problem yet.

I love the GHL doeser! fully wi-Fi capable and let's you know levels of dosing elements
