Looking to get away from manually dosing 2 part. Looking for the best 2 head doser under $150. Would love the apex DOS but at $300 not practical. Would also like to be able to control via wifi/app (not bluetooth) but might consider just a programmable one. Best suggestion? Thanks!

I’ve had the kamoer X1 pumps running for 5 weeks now and love them. 2 pumps will run less than $120.00 and they’re very precise. They are programmed via Bluetooth but the app is very easy to use and gives you lots of options. I know you mentioned no Bluetooth but they work really well.

Do they ever lose programming? So you can only adjust them if your phone is in range correct?

The X1 does lose programming if you lose power. Easy to reprogram but a definite fault. If you plug them into a battery backup the problem is solved. And yes you can only adjust when Bluetooth device is within range.

Appreciate that, Im gone most weekends during the summer I dont want to worry about not being home to reprogram if we lose power. Any other suggestions even if they are not wifi/bluetooth compatible?

I bought a jebao and it failed in the first week. I switched to the BRS peristaltic pumps on a digital timer. I think they were $50 each. They have been running for 18 months with no issues. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no problem.

Why not spend the money on such a important part of your tank. Get the GHL 4 head and you won’t regret it

The Jebao dosing pumps are good.
Funny, the only manufacture that has not let me down yet after more than 4 years running is Jebao. My entire set up, return, wavemaker, gyres, doser, UV, continue to perform well. Normal cleaning required. Cheap doesn’t always mean bad.

I installed an X1 Pro 2 on my nano a few weeks ago, just to microdose alk throughout the day.

Was very easy to set up and works great so far. Wifi with a phone app. The iPhone app had terrible reviews when I went to download it (uh-oh, I thought), but it connected to the pump and then connected it to my wifi network first try, no problem.

Another consideration is how high your tank is compared to where the containers are. The instructions say the tube outlet should be no more than 0.5 meters higher than the inlet, but mine is almost a meter higher and it still works fine, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

The X1 Pro doesn't lose programming if it loses power, and you can adjust it from anywhere that has wifi.

Have you considered the GHL?

Way over what my budget was and only dosing two part. Got a good deal on a dos
