As per the title I am looking to replace my DP-4 (I have low confidence in it as even the time drifts!) with a new 4 channel dosing pump for Triton Reef Supplements (dosing as the 4 separate parts).

I am torn between three pumps, either:

GHL Doser 2.1 SA - 4 Pump Standalone Version - Approx £409
Kamoer X4 WIFI 4 Channel Dosing Pump - Approx £280
Pacific Sun Kore 5th Dosing Station - Approx £321

Can anyone share any experiences of the above, both good and bad.

Stu

I have 3 GHL dosers love them very easy to use and very well built units. Easy to setup and run with just a Phone app.
Good tech support and easy to get parts if you need them.

You will get better support as GHL imports their own equipment and so they are a direct supplier of parts and tech support. A GHL doser is a very well built doser. Mine are just work horses I use them daily.

Would you need the GHL 2.1 doser? My understanding is that's used more when you're going to do continuous dosing (i.e. water changes). If you're only using it for traditional dosing, you could use the 2.0. A little cheaper that way.

I just switched to the icecap dozers. They are fantastic! Built in controller with led readout, easy to set, easy to calibrate. Overall fantastic and easy to daisy chain together. Pump is easy to swap out as well.

I have looked and can't seem to find the 2.0 in the UK. I do quite like the wireless idea too as it is quite high up in the cabinet due to space so currently have to pull my doser out to tweak it.

Thank you, I'd never heard of them so had a quick look, not sure I have the room for those.

I have no experience with dosers. I just bought the kamoer x4 and set it up. Not actually using it yet cause the tank isn't quite finished being set up but so far I like it. It came with its own mounting bracket which I thought was nice. The containers come with a float valve to let you know when the fluid is low. Has a thermometer with it. The plug is European (I think) but has the adapter for US.
Over all I'm pleased with my purchase though I haven't actually used it yet.

The Doser 2 is the old model and the Doser 2.1 is the new model the main difference is the new unit has heavier duty pump motors. There are some 2.0 models here still in the states. They both have all the same features and both use the same phone app to adjust and run them.

I will see if I can find the doser 2 in the UK or Europe and look at that, I didn't realise you could still control it like that.

I've taken the plunge and ordered the GHL 2.1 - 24v stepper motors which should be nice and accurate and reliable.

It's on its way from Germany as wee speak, I think i've made a good choice from what I have been reading.

I've been running a lot of different dosers and have owned all three you have listed. The Pacific Sun while it does have it's issues with connecting to bluetooth and just overall poor software has proven to be extremely reliable and versatile. I use it in conjunction with their stir plate to dose the Aqua Forest system. I have 3 Neptune DOS and the Pac Sun in use right now and I've got to say the Pac Sun delivers a reliable sub Ml dose . The AF products I dose are often dosed in .1ml doses over the course of the day. I havent found another pump capable of doing this reliably. BUT It's obvious huge Negative is not being able to access it over the internet. For this reason I cannot use it to dose carbonate, cal or mag as I like to be able to have control of those when I'm out of town and having someone watch and test my tank.

Congrats! You won't be disappointed. You'll need a PC to set it up initially, but after that, you can control everything via the cloud or the app. I'm a mac guy, so the less I have to touch a PC, the better. Also, they have great support and a good presence on many forums.
