I want to dose kalkwasser at a very slow but steady rate , what do most recommend for dosing pump?
Thanks

I’m a fan of spectrapure liter meter 3. Very accurate and reliable. You’ll find many cheaper options. I also use a kalk stirrer now, but pumped kalk from a container for many years. The advantage of the stirrer is that the pump pumps water, not kalk.

If you are only wanting one pump look at the kamoer X1

Continuous dosing shortens the list - depends on how slow is slow though. I've not used the kamoer pumps so no opinion one way or the other. You could try to find a used Masterflex, thought they are bulky and good deals seem elusive these days (bought mine years ago for $150). I'd look to the new ETM versa - seems well built and not overly expensive.

Was looking at adding to top up but thought running it in a container with a doser might be more fail safe.

BRS makes some nice single pump dosers. You will need your own timer for them. They are kind of big and klunky looking though if thats important to you. I also have an expensive 2 head Eshopps doser, and a cheap no name 3 head doser. They are essentially the same as far as the actual pump assembly goes. The main difference is the Eshopps one is easier/more intuitive to program, but I trust them both.
