Which eel is best for me (zebra or snowflake)?

I dont acc know much about eels but i really want one, but my tank is 20g. Is there any eel that fits in a tank that size? Garden eel maybe?

Yes, garden eels will definitely fit, but they require delicate acclimation as they are very docile. I made a video on the husbandry of garden eels. Feel free to check it out if you are interested.

My Snowflake was awesome, beware though they like to escape!

Old thread, but curious-how long lived was your snowflake? Mine was about 17-he died a tragic death recently by escaping, dang it. I sure loved that old guy.

Eels are awesome, just read up on them especially feeding and waste. Expect nitrate and phosphate to increase, but FOWLR can take it most of the time.

Cleaning crews=midnight buffet! I have given up, I was spending $300 month for awhile, then gave up.

Feeding eels is awesome, my white eye is vicious! But very mellow the rest of the time
