Which Euphyllia is this?

Hey guys i need some help on ID-ing this coral. Someone sold it as frogspawn to me, but it seems more short and stubby.

Looks more like a splatter branching hammer. The way to tell if frogspawn or not is to see if each tentacle has more than one stinging bulb.

I bought a very similar frag from a seller on R2R who claimed it was a bicolor splatter frogspawn. I think it may be a hybrid though.

Yeah i was thinking maybe frammer coral

Looks like a hammer to me unless some of the tentacles split at the end, forming more than one tip per tentacle.

Unless it's a torch, it's not a euphyllia.

Yup, looks like what used to be known as Euphyllia paraancora, but has now been reclassified as Fimbriaphyllia paraancora.

Only torches and cristata (grape) are considered Euphyllia now, but that has yet to catch on hobby wide yet.

Only torches and cristata (grape) are considered Euphyllia now, but that has yet to catch on hobby wide yet.
