I have a 120g display that has LPS and softy corals in it, 5 chromis and 1 Melanarus Wrasse. This week I would like to add my fairy wrasse and sleeper head sand sifter that are waiting to come over from the old 29 cube.

1. Will there be any issues with that?

Down the line I'd like to get a few different types of fish and would like to know which should go in first. I am also pretty new to salwater, so hardy is also key.

Foxface - just 1
Tang - at least one. I would like a purple, blue and/or Blonde Naso. I am sure there are issues there...
clown with bta - one or maybe pair
Pyramid butterfly
Angel - should I only get a dwarf? Can I get 2?
Way down the line - bullseye mandarin pair - I have pods in my refugium propagating now and figuring out a way to keep the wrasses out of them. Probably do the mandarin diner thing.... probably a year out.

I am also going to get a few rock nems and maxi-mini nem if that makes a differnce

There is a lot of room here for recommendations on purpose, I'd really like to hear what you all think would be a fun and safe colorful tank of fish.

When you add the fairy utilize an acclimation box. Melanurus wrasses are usually fine with fairy wrasses but every once in awhile aren't.

A 120 can have more than one tang, but a blue and naso will outgrow the tank.

More than one dwarf angel will be fine if added simultaneously, but be forewarned they may nip at corals. Genicanthus angels would work as well.

The melanurus is the only thing on your list that will compete with the mandarins for ppds, so as long as you are planning around that you should be fine.

The rest of the list is compatible.

Thanks @eatbreakfast . I'll swap the blue and naso for a Kole and put a Bellus in there as well. I have a large acclimation box, how long should I keep the fairy in there? Do the tangs need to go in together?

Yes you do not want a blonde naso or naso in a 5 foot tank they're fast growers. Hippo can grow somewhat fast too, good choice to skip both.

If after a day the melanurus is not paying attention you can release it, but if the melanurus is still trying to intimidate the fairy, it can stay in the box for three or four days.
