Hi everyone,

My 120G tank has been cycling well over a month now and I'm ready to add the fishes in. Which fish or invert should I add first to minimise aggression as in the past I've really struggled with it.

The fish & inverts I currently have QT in separate systems are:
4 x Designer Clowns
2 x Lyretail Anthias
1 x Blue Tang
1 x Yellow Tang
1 x Sixline Wrasse
1 x Yellow Corris
1 x Cleaner Wrasse
2 x Cleaner Shrimp
2 x Fire Shrimp

Here's how I would go in order

1. clowns ( if occelaris/percula- okay, if maroon exp. lightning- move to right before tangs)

2. Anthias

3. cleaner wrasse

4. coris wrasse

5. shrimp

6. sixline

7. hippo/blue tang

8. yellow tang

Thanks I'll go with your order

I see some problems....

Four clowns most likely won't work. A single pair is always recommended, unless the tank is large. 4x2x2 (if that's what it is) probably isn't enough room.

A blue tang, regal or Atlantic, will outgrow the tank.

Sixline wrasses are really intolerant of other wrasses, and can be pretty aggressive in general. They always make the lists of "things I wish I wouldn't have added to my tank." I would skip it, especially since you mentioned aggression.

Cleaner wrasses don't fair well in our tanks. They do better in huge tanks with many large fish, so they get enough to eat and don't bother the large fish too much.

For order, I would do:
2 clowns
yellow "Coris" wrasse
Inverts
Anthias
Yellow tang
