Hi everyone! I have a 32 gal reef tank with
2 Cleaner Shrimp
2 Ocillaris clowns
1 Coral Beauty
1 Scooter Blenny
1 Wheeler Goby
6 Astraea snails
2 Cerith snails
4 Scarlette hermit crabs
3 blue legged hermit crabs
Corals I have Green star polyps, Frog Spawn, Toad stool (just started shedding), Zoas, a type of leather, Xenia, Pocillipora and a Feather Duster

My parameters are pretty good although my calcium runs low at 320 and am using Bright well Code A to raise.

I was hoping to add another fish and was considering either a Flasher Wrasse or a Midas Blenny or even a Golden head Goby. Looking for a swimmer but want to keep things friendly in the tank. Any suggestions on the fish? Could I add more than one and should I add more cleaners?

Midas would be a good addition. Do note, all that you listed are jumpers

Midas IMO will get too big and the flasher ideally needs a 4’ tank to thrive. Possibly best going for a Goby - Mine aren’t all shy. I own three:
- Gobiodon acicularis

- Stonogobiops yasha

- Koumansetta hectori

As you can see the only full time cave dweller is the yasha, the other two are out and happily swimming the whole day.

Firefish, Orange Tailspot, Neon/Sharknose goby

Beautiful

I do have to argue a little on the hector. Many do not tend to stray far from the cave or from its shade
That’s interesting - All of the ones I’ve seen have been the opposite of this.

Firefish can be a tad skittish, but usually becomes more bold with time. Tailspot is bold. Neon and Sharknose is bold with sharknose tending to rest on the bottom
I was hoping to get something that swims around. How active are any of these? What about a Six spot goby?

IMHO most of the sleeper gobies if not all of them get too big and active for any tank below 3’ long. As for fire fish, they tend to find one spot and just stay there the whole time.

Helfrichi. Amazing colour. Mine is always out swimming and friendly. Also not too common.
