I have a 40 breeder with 4 fish, clown, cardinal, royal gramma, melanurus wrasse. Whats a good goby to add, yellow watchman or diamond? Or open to any other suggestions.

Following as I'm considering a goby as the third inhabitant. Out of those 2 I like the yellow more. I'm currently considering Yellow, Hi-fin and Yasha.

Yes, I was looking at the yellow more, but I seen a video on youtube of a royal gramma and yellow fighting, so Im kinda worried about that. Seeing if anyone here has kept both together?

A diamond will not get enough to survive long term in that size tank. A watchman should be fine, but with the gramma, I guess it depends on yours' personality. Also, the melanarus will probably outgrow a 40g too. Just a heads up. :)

Get yourself a Randall's Goby. Harder to find but they are sweet looking and peaceful. And add a Pistol Shrimp for him too.
