My no3 can run as low as 2-5ppm. Recently my test kit is showing almost 20.

Which colorimeter is right for me? Is the hi782 accurate down to 2ppm and as high as 20?

id rather not buy both low range and high range. Is that possible?

overall, is it really more accurate than manual test kits?

Thanks for the input.

The low range hanna kit only goes up to 5ppm and if you want to test for higher you need to use dilution which is a bit of work. I would stick with the high range as it is simple to use and mine has been pretty accurate.

FWIW, BRS no longer carries the HI781 (low range) Checker. It indicated 'Discontinued' and removed it from my Wish List. However, I do see it at other sources including Hanna.

High range is your best choice. Watch a video on the low range tester, lots of steps, filtration, time.
