Wasn't sure if I should ask this here, or over in @Randy Holmes-Farley 's chemistry forum...
I know treating with copper/coppersafe messes up some ammonia tests, but are there any that can be used (in my case with Coppersafe)?
I have a Seachem Ammonia badge, but I noticed it says "freshwater" on it, although I could swear the packaging said both... That being said, when I first added copper, the "reactor pad" turned a little greenish, which isn't really in the color scheme of results...
I have the Salifert Ammonia test, and got a negative reading, I just am not sure if it is valid with the chelated copper in the water...
