Which if any tang for my aquarium

I have a innovative marine 75 ext measures 36x24x20. Wondering what the tang police thought of a single tang in this tank? And if so, which would be a good candidate?
Was thinking maybe a yellow eye khole.

That is pretty small for a tang of any kind. The smallest are the kole and tomini so I guess one of those would be best if you have to have a tang. Get it small and realize it will outgrow your tank.

I wouldn't put a Tang in anything smaller than a 4' 120gl tank but only a small genus. I have a Hippo & Chevron in my 5' 185gl tank.

A tomini or a kole tang would do fine in a 75 IMO

I'd look at the smaller tangs like a tomini. Also, tangs can be kept in a 75 just fine, let's not call the tang police on this thread....

It's not a standard, 4' long 75 though.

I would steer you towards a dwarf angel of some sort.

Yeah sorry I feel a 36” long tank is to small for a tang. They need swimming room and the more the better off they will be. With the rock work in the tank the poor guy wouldn’t be able to do much gliding. Be like putting a Olympic swimmer in a kiddy pool the practice.

He might be fine for a long while but at some point when he gets full grown you will see what we’re talking about.

Thanks guys. I appreciate everyone's input.
I am still not 100% I will get one but if I do I think I'll go kole. I don't want anyone to not have appropriate room, add to that I have had ich issues in the past and that is never fun.

I feel the 3 foot length is too small for any tang long term and a Pygmy Angel (ie Cherubfish) would be a much better choice for a slender profile fish (that and they have a much brighter color). If you do attempt a Tang I would go with the Tomini as they tend to stay a tad smaller than the Kole.
