Which Iodine Supplement do you use?

I have recently got back into the hobby after a few years out. And I was looking at Iodine supplements and wondering what everyone uses. I am only familiar with Lugol's solution, and wondering if this is still one of the better ones.

I use prodibio. Comes in a little vial and easy to use. I don’t add iodine very often though. Usually between water changes.

I have heard of the Iodide rather than Iodine. Any reason as to why you use Iodide rather than Iodine?

If I remember correctly, iodide gets converted into iodine once added to tank. Once converted, inverts and corals can use the converted form.

I read up on seachems site about iodide vs others, they specifically call out lugols. Interesting read, is it true? I have no clue.

Mine is in my trace elements. Dsr trace. I dose daily and it keeps my levels between.04-.06. It is iodine.

Seachem says iodine is toxic. Iodide is what corals use. Supposedly

Iodine converts rapidly to iodide and iodate in your tank. Not shure about seachems reasoning.
Lugols is both iodine and iodide.
