Which is better RODI filter?

How may stages should I get for a new RODI filter? 4? 5? 6?

It really depends on the quality of the water going into it. If your don't know the quality then the more the better. Its best to make sure the sediment filter is filtering down to 1 micron. The better the water is going to the membrane the longer it will last. That goes for the DI filter as well. Periodically test the ro water with a tds meter to determine when to replace the membrane. Usually you will replace all other filters every 6 months on average. I do recommend installing a UV Light as well.

When deciding on an RODI unit, there are a few things that are very useful in determining what unit is best for you...

1) Are you on city or well water
2) If city water, are they using chlorine or chloramine?
3) What is your incoming TDS?
4) What is your incoming water pressure?
