Hey guys, just about done painting my stand and I was wondering, is spray on Polyurethane better or should I use the paint type and brush it on? Thanks!

I would say personal preference but I think you would get a better more even coat by brushing it on.

Both will work but I always feel bettter brushing it on, I feel like it gets in the grooves of the wood better. You can control your runs too.

That’s what I was thinking.. and the smell from the aerosol cab isn’t great lol I feel like the paint would be better too. Any recommendations on a brand?

I used quality (Behr I think, not sure if that is an international brand) bathroom/kitchen latex paint on my facing and trim. I rolled on for the big parts, using a short nap roller to maintain the wood grain...

Well I already painted the stand. I’m wondering what type of sealant to use.. they list a Clear Satin, Semi Gloss and Clear Gloss. I don’t want it to look glossy so I assuming Satin would be the right pick?

Yes that should work well for ya do a couple coats if possible(depending on what type youre using)

Yeah I’m not too sure what brand I’m using.. my local hardware store sells a lot of Minwax products so I was thinking of going with that
