Wondering if placement is good color stared off light in first pic when I added it to tank from lfs. Now it’s Turing brown in second pic. First pic light is at 100% and second light is at 50%. Is it to close to light or just right? Need help! Trying to find best placement before glueing to rock.

Go off par and flow. You'll need paf meter to help

I always start corals low then bring them up into their final spots.
The sand is a fine place to settle for a couple weeks for a torch :)
Also, you may want to hold off on any more sensitive corals until your tank matures some more and you get a handle on your lighting and parameters.

I realized the other day doing research I jumped this gun with this guy. Do you think it will make it threw my maturing stage? Sorry if I ask to much have so many questions trying to gain as much knowledge as possible. What are also some recommended hardy coral that will handle the changes in tank while maturing? My parameters are all in check as of now but I’m sure when it goes threw changes it won’t be anymore.
