So I have a reefbreeder photon 48 on my tank and have the chance to get a pair of radion g2 non pro fixtures. Should I take them or keep the photon 48. Photon is a very good fixture. Anu help would be great.

What size tank? How is the growth with the Reef Breeders?

Id take the g2. I currently run reef breeders and would love the g2s. Or use your current lights and get more coral.

I got a full sps tank. The photon is nice but if I can get radions tjen upgrade them I the future I like that too.

If the deal on the Radions is good, I would go for them.

I just might go that route. Photon has more colors the the g2 but I can always upgrade later to g3

I would hold off and get a G2 or G3 Pro, Juan. There is a big difference between pro and non-pro imo. I have a G2 Pro and a G3 Peo on the same tank, and visually cant tell the difference FWIW.

I had a g2 and the lack of full spectrum is really a huge difference your better off keeping the reef breaders until you can get your hands on a pro like jerry says. You wouldn't be happy with it.

Yea reefbreeders is the best middle of the line light there is for leds. If you arent buying the radion pros ite juwt not worth it to me

Hydra 52 is a very good Led for the money. I know quite a few local guys here who are replacing 50 to 75 % of their halides with them on full sps systems and having great success.

It seems like for sps, radions or hydra 52sare having the most success. I know there are always exceptions, but these seem the most plug and play

Have not tried Radion g3 pro yet but my old g2 pro's were lousy at getting the deep colors in reds and blues. They grew great but not impressed with coloration. Looked like I was running a zeovit ULNS. Lots of pastels.
