I am looking for the best led to buy for my reef tank (20 Long). Right now i have a current orbit led, but i have dark ends on my tank. I am also looking for one that i can control from my phone and laptop.

Look into Nanobox reef. I own a tide and my corals couldn't be happier. The build quality is also top notch. For a 20 long, I think a Duo would be perfect.

Thanks! I've been looking at the ai prime hd and the hydra 26, but I'm looking to see which would be the best light.

what are you keeping in the tank?
right now i have a hammer, frogspawn, and blue mushroom..everything is growing well with the orbit. I've had my frogspawn for a year and when i bought it, it only had three heads now I'm up to 7. Within the last month I've had two mushrooms pop up and now are quarter size, but I'm looking with something with more power so i can get a clam and other corals.

The environment needed for a bunch of the higher light coral doesn't quite go with that of the coral you have. However, I think if you could get full coverage with two Primes and add a third when you get a coral that seems to need more which is unlikely in a 20 long because of the 12" height. I forgot they were that shallow and that the Primes could over that.

you might be surprised at how much par that light you have is actually giving off. esp in a smaller tank.

I have both SB Reef Lights and Reef Breeder Photon V2's. Both are good lights. The Photon 16-V2 is a very sleek design but I haven't played with the app for controlling it yet.
The Photon 16-V2 has more control options and a little nicer looking design.
I modified the SB Reef Lights to be Apex controlled which was a nice feature that I couldn't have done with the V2.

Both are fine lights depending on what you plan on using them for.

I have someone in my area selling an AI Vega for $100 i was considering that light, but i think id rather go with a new light. There are so many lights out there its just hard to choose what would be the best.

they all grow coral. So.....
Id go for the one with best coverage.

I think one Hydra 26 could cover your tank if mounted high enough. A 30" tank can sometimes be a challenge. If you go AI Prime, I would mount two.
