So Im saving money to buys leds. I have seen the evo200 and one would do my tank its a 90 gallon for $499. But ive started looking at the radions. Problem is I cant figure out if Id have to have more than one to do the tank. I like the fact that they are more programmable and can hook up to the powerheads. I dont have but one sps and a few lps(bubble coral and frog spawn) I also have two bta's and some softies so I dont think I really need extreemly high lighting but might be wrong. right now im doing 2 250w halides and things look good but theres alot of heat. Anyone have either of these fixtures or use a different one thats close in price that could give me some insight as to which to go with?

From what I understand you "could" use one radion for a 90g but you're much better off with two. I'm not a fan of his but Mr. Saltwater ends up putting two radions on his 90g tank. Mr. Saltwater Tank's Radion Experiment Update - YouTube I can't say how the evo200 compared to radions but hopefully you'll get an idea from the video of what to expect from the radions. Good luck!

I have owned both radions and AI's and like both but in different ways, I also build custom LED fixtures with arduino controllers and after many headaches I started working with pharos, very affordable with incredible control. They where the makers of the coralvue fixtures before coralvue got maxspect. If you wanna check out the specs on the fixtures go to my site at www.prestigereefs.com and check them out, ill be glad to answer any questions you have or any questions about diy or other led fixtures.
