I have a 60 gallon frag tank 4L2W1H and its going to be an mini maxi and bta propagation tank and i want out to be all led and with the whole nine yards but i can't decide what to get

Kessil A350 or kessil A350w
Marraza p
Current Pro led strips
paranorma pro
Ur ideas would be appreciated also on what you have and i could get half of the fixture now and the test later

I wonder the same thing on which led i would like & i finally came to conclusion the other day i would wait another year or so for 2 reasons
1. Wait on the prices to come down like everything does after its been on the market
2.Wait for a little more ratings to come out on equipment out there cause as soon as you purchase something, their will be something else that is better

I have 2 Mazarra P-Series on my 55. I could probably use a third fixture to get a little bit more coverage, but I am able to keep most corals and my sebae anemone is pretty happy. They would be able to support a mini maxi and BTA tank. It was pretty easy to program and the LED chips are super easy to replace if they burn out. Here is a link to my tank thread so you can see some pics: https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/89592-journey-my-55-reef.html.

A lot of choosing the right fixture for your tank comes from what you want. Are there any features that you are completely set on?

I love the mazzara p but they cost a ton but but I'm leading more towards then how do you think they are

I do like them, but I have had a couple of issues with the fixture. I have had to replace the power supply, 2 UV LED chips, a cable and a fan. The customer service I received in getting the items replaced was great. I am satisfied with the growth of my corals and how well my sebae anemone is doing.

ive had good luck with the ecoxotic panarama pro. even sps does good under them. just don't get the tank mount they make. its garbage.

novice i actually found someone that was doing what ur looking into. i bought two used 400 wt metal halide
they sold these to get LED. i just have to replace one of the fans

I would like to go metal halide but the c ousts of bulbs each year and power bill I'm like no not gonna happen

well i use to work out at electrical supply company & i actually use the regular halide. Cost was only 22 per bulb
corals are growing like crazy under these. power bill has roughly went up abou 18 to 20 dollars a month. I know it cost extra, but what u pay for led its not worth it right now. in a year or so the market will be overpopulated in the lights and the prices will slash in half

We have decided to go with the aquaticlife 1W LED lights with blue, white, and purple LEDS. The only downside for me is that is doesnt come with a timer, but thats an easy fix.
