Which light is better? One of them is LED

I had a response all written out and then I clicked on the link to your nano! Wow aren't you afraid you will boil that tank with any of those lights?

I don't think that anyone can answer that for you. There are positives and negatives to each type of lighting.

Revhtree, haha, well I needed enough lights for LPS, so I figured any of these will do.

CJO, what's the advantages and disadvantages of each lighting?

that is still 35W a gallon....crazy high unless we are looking at the wrong tank....you are talking about a 2 gallon Nano right???

That's what I was just wondering. Is this for the 2g?

Yes, this is the 2g tank.

hahaha

What's a par 38?
They are LED bulbs that screw into a regular lamp fixture. I believe that most are 21w and they're available in various color temperatures.

That should be fine for LPS in a 2g setup

Par 38 like Troylee said great lil led bulb and probably save you some bucks along the way

LPS does do need much light at all to thrive. SPS is a different story.

if you go DIY just do a 4.23x12" heatsink with 2x strips, one 50/50 and the other all blue for a 15k look
w a single 35-700 or inventronics driver.
