The tank is coming along nicely besides me having a hard time figuring out my protein skimmer and getting my pump to stop blowing a lot of bubbles (that I still haven’t worked out)... anyway, I’m looking into getting some new lights for my 125 and I’m curious as to how many people recommend which brand? I’m trying to keep my wife happy so I told her I wouldn’t go overboard with the lights. So I’m looking for the best system for color and growth (overall health on the coral) and of course something that the coral and fish enjoy as well as myself lol. I’m running two MARS HYDRO lights... long black boxes; I believe they’re 300 watt boxes?
I’m liking the Noopsyche K7 Pro ii But I’m curious to see if anything is out there that is a little cheaper that will do the same things. I’m not having much luck researching any comparisons. I’m also curious as to how many I need? The tank is 6’ and 24” deep. I’m not looking to grow anything fancy; just soft and LPS. I appreciate everyone’s help!

As far as cost effective lighting options, I think the Mars fixtures you have now will be the most bang for your buck. If you are looking roe something with more controlability, then the NooPsych, may be your best economical fixture. If you decide to get the Noopsych, I would recommend you start with 4. You can always add more later if needed, but for softies ans LPS I think 4 would work nicely.

You can't consolidate the best system for growth, color and health with most cheap stuff out there.
If you are looking for one of the ultimte lighting systems ever, I would get 3 X 250W Hamilton 14000K metal halide bulbs on electronic ballasts! You can also choose the 20000K if you like bluer. You will get the very best in regards to health, growth and colors with metal halides! No other light will surpass halides in that respect! And it will look very natural with an amazing shimmer. Hamilton also sells the pendants.

Check out the reviews!
